Calling all Scottish and Welsh Woodland Social Enterprises!

Kate Swade

We are working with Natural Resources Wales and Forestry Commission Scotland to find out how many woodland social enterprises there are in each country.

We want to hear from you if you are involved in social activities in woodlands.

  • Maybe you are a community woodland group that is selling firewood.
  • Maybe you’re a coppicing co-op
  • Maybe you manage woodlands to increase biodiversity
  • Maybe you run a campsite or a mountain bike trail in a woodland
  • Maybe you run a forest school or carry out other woodland education activities

Even if you wouldn’t call your organisation a “social enterprise”, but it sounds interesting to you , we’d still love to hear from you, by filling in our 20-30 minute online survey.

The results will help inform future support to woodland social enterprises – so please do take the time to fill this in and support your sector! The Scottish survey closes on 19th February 2014; the Welsh survey closes on 26th February 2014.  You can read the report of our survey in England here.

Dymunwn glywed gan bob corff sy’n cynnal gweithgareddau diddorol mewn coetiroedd, hyd yn oed os nad ydyn’ nhw’n eu galw’u hunain yn “fentrau cymdeithasol”. Os ydych yn un ohonynt, byddwch mor garedig â threulio 20-30 munud yn cwblhau ein harolwg ni.
