With our partners the Social Change Agency we were commissioned by Power To Change to develop and support a community of practice for 13 community business membership organisations and networks in order to unlock the power of successful peer networks.
We supported their learning through face-to-face, residential, and online training sessions, action learning sets, individual coaching, and developed briefing papers and workbooks to support their learning.
The programme involved participants in the co-design, review and revision of the programme, and in the design and development of the tools and resources we developed to capture and share their learning.
Working together we identified six key areas of focus for the development of effective peer networks and developed tools to support network coordinators to work across each, namely: purpose & identity, governance & power, value creation & exchange, infrastructure & resources, measuring impact and managing change.
We also developed case studies, diagnostic tools and a suite of resources focussed on network processes and best practices.
